News from World Board and NAWS

Updated financials have been shared for June. These numbers show “that we are just meeting current expenses and projects a net income of $26,294 for the year.” I have attached these financials to my email.

CAR 2022 Motion

Hopefully we agreed on a proposed direction to proceed with CIRNA’s CAR motion from 2020 and I will have more information to discuss today.

The Deadline for CAR motions is August 1^st, and I am shooting to have our motion wrapped up and submitted not later than immediately after our July 4^th? Meeting. Becky from NAWS has already reached out on May 10^th to remind us about the motion and offer assistance if we need it.

Conference Participant Web Meeting

Our next CP Web Meeting will be Saturday, June 12th – 11am to 1:00pm

We will be doing polling on questions about WSC 2022 (not binding decisions). These questions include:

1. Are you in favor of an additional Conference participant web meeting 24 July, 11am-1pm, Pacific Daylight Time? This meeting would be for discussion about planning the WSC.
2. Do you believe an in-person Conference is prudent or advisable in 2022? Again, we are just trying to take an initial pulse to get a sense of where we all stand.
3. Given the factors mentioned today, do you believe an in-person Conference is possible in 2022?
4. If funding to attend the WSC was not available through World Services, would your region or zone still be able to send a delegate?
5. Knowing what you know today, do you think you would attend an in-person WSC?

We are not asking specifically about a hybrid WSC, meaning a WSC with some in-person attendees and some participants attending virtually, because all in-person Conferences are now at least some degree hybrid,  since the WSC has decided to make virtual attendance possible for participants who are unable to attend due to visa issues. Instead, we would like to ask a related question:

• If a significant number of participants were unable to attend, do you believe it would be possible to have an in-person WSC that was in keeping with our spiritual principles and the reason we gather?

WSZF & BMLT

Unless given other direction, it is my understanding that we agreed to move forward with implementing the BMLT (Basic Meeting List Tool) on cirna.org beginning July 1^st. Please correct me if I have any misunderstanding.

Budget and Expenses

I had no expenses this month and have spent $0 of my $715 budget for 2021.
