All votes must be turned in to the RD Team by April 15. Emailed the vote sheet to delegate@cirna.org, or vote online at www.cirna.org/CAR
At the writing of this report we have received 5 online votes, 3 from GMA, 1 from MBA, and 1 from SWA.
Unless otherwise directed, we will tally the votes by Area and then calculate CIRNA’s vote.
Motion: by Mike C. 4/2/2023
Give the RD Team (RD & AD) a vote of confidence to vote on CIRNA’s behalf on any amendments, elections, or new matters which have not been presented to CIRNA at the 2023 WSC. The RD Team will make every effort to vote consistently with the conscience of the CIRNA groups or abstain from matters where the conscience of CIRNA’s groups is unclear.
Intent: Provide clear conscience for the RD Team as required by guidelines.
Last month, the RSC gave me permission to propose two amendments to CAR motions. The Amendment to Motion 10 was not accepted, as the Facilitators felt it changed the intent of the motion. The amendment to Motion 11 was accepted, with the condition that we had to remove the CAT from the amendment, as again, that was felt to change the intent of the original motion.
The WSC will be live-streamed on YouTube and a link will be available before each daily session at www.na.org/conference
Budget and Expenses
I am requesting a check for $1,778.02 total for my WSC expenses. I have included the line items from my approved budget below. To date, I have spent $991.23 of my 2023 budget of $3797.02.
