WSC and NAWS Information

  • Physical WSC has been cancelled.

    • CAR/CAT Votes – A number of Regions were concerned that they were not able to gather enough of their group’s votes, and that many groups may not have been able to conduct voting.
  • NAWS Updates:
    • $45k in airfare has already been purchased. Delegates with airfare asked to send refunds back to NAWS or hold on to vouchers for next WSC
    • NAWS is not selling much literature and is looking at methods of relying on fellowship contributions. Recurring contributions have increased this month.
    • Many NAWS staff laid off. A few left at 20hrs a week. Executives took 10% salary cut.
    • Online meetings can be found on NA.org under “Services” on mobile, or “For Our Members” in the full web site.
    • NAWS has virtual meeting information and resources at: https://www.na.org/?ID=virtual_meetings
