A Walk in the Park
A Walk in the Park
Start your week right. Take a walk in the park! Discover the beauty, the history and the serenity of hiking in the desert and mountains of Joshua Tree National Park.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, Jerry and Phil meet at the east visitors center to Joshua Tree National Park. From there we drive to trail heads throughout the park and hike. The park has over 700 miles of hiking trails, most that used to be mining roads. It is great exercise and a spiritual experience for us.
We want to invite anyone who would like to join us. A yearly pass to the park is $80. We have a card and can take a car load with the pass.
Call Jerry at 361-8570 or Phil at 367-3775 for information
Sunday 5/11 We will not be hiking
Mom takes our attention this weekend. Happy Mothers day everyone. :)
We do plan to hike the following Sunday. We have not picked a hike and if there are any suggestions we are open to them.
