We are disappointed in our Region for not getting out the CAR information earlier. Our Area meeting was held today and we had no information about where or when our GSR's are to meet to go over the CAR material, which is 122 pages. We just found it and have posted all of it on the Morongo Basin Area Forum.

We still don't know when and where the meeting to go over the CAR material will be held. We are very close to the deadline here so please get with it!

They excuses given were not comforting. Hope we can learn from this and do better in 2012.

The Conference Agenda Review, CAR, will meet at Morongo Basin Counseling & Recovery Center, 55475 Santa Fe Trail, Yucca Valley, CA at 10am on Feb 6th. This is to prepare GSR's for the World Service Conference to be held 25 April – 1 May in Woodland Hills, California.
I posted this on the Morongo Basin site along with the complete 122 page Conference Agenda Report in the forum.

“What is the conference for?” Decision making, training, sharing
experience, receiving direction from the fellowship, and the “magic” of coming together as a global fellowship were all key points brought up in our discussion and reflected in GWSNA. (Guide to World Services of NA)
I'd like to post this on all the Area schedules or have the wemaster do it?

I thought you might be able to give me cover/permission. I think it so important I went ahead and posted the below on all area schedules. Two Area's have there ASC meetings coming up and I hope they get this to there GSR's.

The CAR (Conference Agenda Report) is discussed and voted on every 2 years worldwide. Our region will send a representative to vote for us as we want!
First, we will present the Conference Agenda Report (CAR), discuss and review with all CIRNA members.
Second, GSR’s will take information to their groups to get a home group consensus and vote.
Third, GSR’s will need to bring the vote to their respective Areas so that the RCM’s can then bring the Area vote
to our Regional meeting in March.
Finally, based on the direction of the membership at large, your Regional Delegate will vote on behalf of our region
In April at the WSC (World Service Conference)
When: Saturday February 6, 2010 - 10:00 a.m. until consensus says it’s done
What: CAR Assembly
